Thank you for helping me get my life back.

"I said to my husband the other day that I never thought I would feel 'good' or like a 'normal human' again. I thought I was going to be a slave to my fear and anxiety forever. I don't think I've taken the time to appropriately thank you for helping me get my life back."

Message From Kim

Women have such a unique place in our society, but the demands placed on them are ever-growing. Maintaining healthy relationships is so important to our well-being.

When we're dealing with trauma, work stress and burnout, issues within our relationship, divorce, betrayal or grief, we can lose sight of who we are. Our voices become diminished and we're lost in the makings of a world we never imagined for ourselves.

Hi, I'm Kimberly, a wife, mother, daughter, Christian, and a compassionate listener. My passion lies in walking alongside of women who are facing life's complex challenges.

My theoretical orientation stems from my belief that our experiences, as well as the perception and the impact of those experiences, shape us into the person we are today. Research shows that the difficulties of past experiences continue to surface in our lives until they're dealt with.

Attachment issues, relationship wounds, trauma, anxiety, depression, and grief issues repeat over and over in therapy. These issues call for a therapist who's active during the session. I point out patterns, inconsistencies, and irrational beliefs.

I also offer simple skills that can be used daily to help with emotional regulation and to be able to communicate your wants, wishes, and needs to those around you. I help clients find what matters most to them and then teach them how to live out their values regardless of their situation.

I believe that every person deserves to be fully and wholly seen. I believe that every person deserves to tell their story and have someone who helps them overcome the damage of prior relationships, traumatic experiences, spiritual pain, and loss.

Before our first appointment, I'll provide you with several assessments which will help to build a clinical picture. During our first appointment, I will listen to your story to understand what you're going through. and then I'll use research-based interventions to help you overcome the pain of the past and embrace the joy of moving forward.

Life can be difficult, but finding support shouldn't be.

Getting started is simple:

Step 1: Fill out the new client appointment form.

Step 2: Schedule a consultation
We’ll have a 15-minute conversation to see if we’re a good fit.

Step 3: Schedule your first appointment

Together, we can embark on a journey towards realizing your full potential and embracing and celebrating your unique self in the world. I look forward to working with you soon.

You’ve spent so much time holding it together for everyone else that somewhere along the way, you stopped feeling like yourself.

Maybe you’re overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with body image, navigating heartbreak or betrayal, grieving a loss, feeling disconnected in your relationship, or simply exhausted from trying to carry the weight of it all alone. You may understand why you feel the way you do, but still feel stuck in the same painful cycles.

Therapy can be more than just talking about problems. It can be a place where healing actually begins.

I work with females ages 13+ and couples who are ready to better understand themselves, heal from past wounds, improve relationships, and create lasting emotional change. I specialize in areas including anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, self-esteem, relationship conflict, infidelity, divorce, grief, parenting, life transitions, and women’s issues.

Because no two people are the same, I tailor therapy to each individual’s unique story and goals. Drawing from evidence-based approaches including ACT, CBT, DBT, EFT, the Gottman Method, Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment therapy, and trauma-focused therapy, we work together to uncover the patterns, beliefs, and emotional wounds that may be keeping you stuck, and begin building healthier ways to cope, connect, and move forward.

As William Faulkner wrote, “The past is never dead. It’s not even past.” Our experiences shape how we think, feel, and relate to others today. In therapy, we’ll compassionately explore those deeper roots while also developing practical tools to help you find greater peace, clarity, confidence, and emotional freedom.

I offer warm, collaborative therapy in a supportive, judgment-free environment where you don’t have to have it all figured out before you walk in the door.

In-person sessions are available, as well as online therapy from the comfort of your home. Weekday and evening appointments are offered to fit your schedule.

You do not have to keep surviving what you were meant to heal from.
